My journey as a writer and journalist started with an insatiable curiosity about the world around me and a deep-seated love to express myself through words.

I’ve always believed in the transformative power of words – how they can illuminate the darkest corners of human experience, inspire change, influence and connect us across time and space.
This belief has been the driving force behind my career.

I am an arts graduate with a mass communication and journalism diploma, and my core skills are research, writing, editing and story conceptualisation.

Further, I’m a Researcher-Writer-Editor-Journalist-turned-Entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in the mainstream media and a global NGO – the YWCA of Bombay.

Following a short stint as a City Reporter with the Mumbai-based ‘The Afternoon Despatch & Courier’ in 1999, I joined Times Internet (the Times of India group), covering news and penned news stories and feature articles as a Special Correspondent for Times Internet. 

Around twenty-two years ago, when the online interactive interview format was barely established in the media industry, Times Internet introduced the online ‘Indiatimes Chat.’

Subsequently, I was entrusted with arranging topical online chats that entailed ideating, editing and conducting the popular programme (chat) featuring real-time interviews –in coordination with different departments — of celebrities from the entertainment business, industries, politicians and bureaucrats.

The excerpts of the chats were printed in the Times of India newspaper. 

Simultaneously, I contributed articles across print publications of the Times of India, including the Times of India Op-ed page, Bombay Times, Men and Women/Lifestyle (national supplement) and ET Vanities (Economic Times supplement). 

Working in the fast-paced environment of the Times of India group (1999-2009) enabled me to operate with a strong sense of urgency.

I maintain a diverse and extensive portfolio, delivering high-quality content. In addition to the content mentioned above, I edited a B2B quarterly magazine and a journal before starting my journey as a freelance writer (2011 to mid-2023), contributing a slew of articles and interviews for a Biography and corporate Coffee Table Books.

I’ve penned over 100 articles and blogs for clients on various topics, including infrastructure, real estate, technology, environment, fashion, travel, gaming, cyber security, heritage conservation and health pharma.

Since I appreciate aligning content with the client’s guidelines, my writing style is adapted to match different tones, brand voices and industries.

I’m a versatile and adaptable professional who can consistently produce high-quality content that connects with the target audience and attains the intended goals.

Throughout my previous positions, I’ve had extensive experience handling multiple (non-fiction) content-writing projects simultaneously. I recognise the importance of objectively delivering the right message to the right audience at the right time. 

Much of my previous experience has helped me add new perspectives and ideas for assignments, enhancing the value of the content. 

Always looking ahead, in October 2023, I embarked on a new phase of my professional life as an entrepreneur, determined to produce winning pieces for my clients and advance my brand.

In this endeavour, I am supported by a team of highly skilled and experienced writers, marketing professionals and consultants.
